Día Europeo de las lenguas

El Día Europeo de las lenguas se celebra cada año el 26 de septiembre tras ser instaurado en 2001 por iniciativa conjunta del Consejo de Europa y la Comisión Europea. Los objetivos principales son fomentar el plurilingüismo y la diversidad cultural, animar el aprendizaje de idiomas y destacar la importancia de la comunicación intercultural y el entendimiento mutuo.

En nuestro centro llevamos a cabo varias actividades para conmemorar esta fecha:

  • 3ºESO: el alumnado visitó la Language Street / La calle de las lenguas /La rue des langues donde pudo acceder a información en inglés, español y francés para responder a un cuestionario. 
  • 4ºESO: asistió en el Salón de Actos a la charla educativa “Abre tu mundo, aprende idiomas” de la mano de varios docentes y familias de nuestra comunidad educativa.
  • 1ºBACH: el alumnado de 2ºBACH participante en el viaje de inmersión lingüística a Salisbury compartió su experiencia con ellos durante una clase de inglés. 

 

The European Day of Languages is celebrated every year on September 26th, following its establishment in 2001 as a joint initiative of the Council of Europe and the European Commission. Its main objectives are to promote plurilingualism and cultural diversity, encourage language learning, and highlight the importance of intercultural communication and mutual understanding.

In our school, we carried out several activities to commemorate this date:

  • 3rd Year of ESO: students visited the Language Street / La calle de las lenguas / La rue des langues, where they could access information in English, Spanish, and French to complete a questionnaire.
  • 4th Year of ESO: attended the educational talk «Open Your World, Learn Languages» in the Assembly Hall, presented by several teachers and families from our educational community.
  • 1st Year of Bachillerato: 2nd-year Bachillerato students who participated in the language immersion trip to Salisbury shared their experience with them during an English class.
